To find God, you must go where God is not. To find God, you must expel God from your heart. To find God, you must cast her far from you. You must run as fast as you can to the highest mountain or the deepest sea and hide as best you can. Once God is purged from your being and you are free from that fretful source of naggingness, then perhaps you might just find her. You see, God is such an inconsequential thing, so easy to ignore; unless she wants your attention. Which for the most part, God does not require. To find God, you must go to the emptiness within and listen to the darkness of the night before anything came to be. Perhaps then you’ll see trying to run from God is like a fish trying to run from the ocean.
